Used as a low-sheen sealer for American Clay Earth Plasters or as a preseal for our Gloss Sealer, Penetrating Sealer is a low-VOC (25g/liter) product that increases the durability and water-resistance of the final plaster. A single coat imparts a low sheen, while two to three coats produce a hard, semi-gloss finish that makes the surface easier to clean and more water-resistant. You can use it on surfaces subject with occasional moisture, such as walls behind sinks and around bathtubs, but not on walls in constant contact with moisture. A slight change in color may occur with Penetrating Sealer. We recommend testing a small area on your wall to see the color change.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Like our clear sealer, Gloss Sealer is a very low-VOC product. Its high sheen makes walls easier to clean — excellent for high-traffic areas such as hallways, entries, stairwells and children’s rooms. It also provides additional water-resistance to walls behind sinks and around bathtubs but should not be used on walls in constant contact with moisture. Gloss Sealer must be applied over a coat of our Penetrating Sealer to minimize color changes. A change in color will occur with Gloss Sealer. We recommend testing a small area on your wall to see the color change.

Formulated with the intention of protecting the environment and saving time and money on jobs, Mud Glue is both a binder and primer for our basecoat plaster, Loma. It does away with the need to prime walls separately, whether on new or existing walls. Mud Glue also serves as a hardening additive for our plasters, increasing resistance to impact and wear.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: AMERICAN CLAY COLOR PIGMENTS are pre-measured color packs that are ready to be added to one 50-lb. bag of plaster to achieve a particular color.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Our American Clay color pigments are placed in individual packs that are pre-measured to be added to one 50-lb. bag of plaster. Each individual color pack will vary in weight depending on how much pigment is used to create that specific color. American Clay color pigment packs contain naturally occurring mineral pigments, which means they are resistant to UV light and fading. Our pigments are made in batches and every pack will have a batch number printed on the label. We do recommend using color pigment packs from the same batch. If this is not an option, simply blend clay plaster that has been tinted with two different batches of pigment in order to unify the color for consistency.

If using color pigment packs with Enjarre plaster, a ratio of 1 ¼ color pigment packs to one 80-lb. bag of Enjarre is used. The 1 ¼ color pigment ratio will closely match standard Loma colors. Standard color pigment packs may be used if measured properly, however, measurements can be difficult.
